M friend Lynn was harassing me because every time we go to a Guild meeting I am bringing my stuff in a Kroger shopping bag. So, I made myself a guild bag. What could be more perfect for the crazy dog lady? A dog bag made with pet screen. I always wanted to try something with pet screen and had bought a piece a while back. No pattern, I just sort of winged it. I like it. It is sturdy and functional.
So, my one monthly goal for December, is to put together my top for the I wish you a Merry Quilt along. It will be a lot considering that Christmas is right around the corner. I do have some vacation, but who knows what we will be doing. So, I will have to make block #12 and figure out how to put it all together before the year ends. Fingers crossed.
Happy Sewing
Happy Quilting

Good Morning Lori,
I think your OMG is doable! There are still a good three weeks left of the month, and you have all but one block complete. I need to make the last block myself and then get it put together. Now to decide on a layout! And your guild bag looks swell – nice and sturdy and holds a lot. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hats off to you for the bag – I have never had any luck making those bags or anything like that! Just not in my DNA, but your is cut and sturdy! You can get that block done, I know you will. The lady who did the pattern has some neat setting instructions and ideas. You will have a nice Christmas quilt!

That bag looks perfect for you Lori! Have you decided on a setting for your blocks? I always find the sewing easy, it is the decisions that bog me down!
