Progress, I’ll take it

I am actually doing things, just not that much. Have not been feeling myself lately, but who has.

These are gifts. I figured that I needed to get them done. I have a Thanksgiving piece I am working on. Who knows if that will happen. It is just for me, so no big deal if it does not get finished.

I liked the dog and cat prints with Holiday hats. I rarely pass up dog prints. Cats are OK and I did one for my cat loving sister, but I am truly a dog person. Well, actually I am an animal person. I love them all. I am just partial to dogs. Funny, I used to be scared of them. Now I can’t imagine life without them. They are truly my fur babies

I did get the next clue for the mystery quilt, but there will be no more clues until January, so I don’t need to be in a hurry for that one. Phew.

Thanksgiving is next week. I know there is much to be thankful for, but I am just so over things. Here in the great state oh Ohio, we are being told that holiday gatherings are not allowed.

Is covid really spiking? I think we are just testing more so it looks like it is so much worse. Please don’t think that I don’t take it seriously. I just want the actual truth. The media truth which is clearly jaded. What and how thy report seems to depend on what else is going on. Do we need distracted from Politics? Yes, then you are going to die from covid. Is there nothing to report in the world of politics or nothing you want mainstream population to hear, then you will die from Covid.

This is not a political post. I want news that is actually factual news without political bias. Rant over.

Happy Thanksgiving to all

Happy Sewing

Happy Quilting

  1. Love the pug with his Santa hat. Happy dance on a finish.👏 The news is so untruthful it’s disturbing, so I don’t bother with it much ,knowing that the COVID isn’t the wolf it’s the fear that the news gives. We have all had COVID in our family ,making out just fine even some of us who have secondary health issues.

  2. Hi Lori. That’s cute with the dogs in hats! Not sure what news you watch (I’m in Canada) but I watch CBC and BBC news. We get the facts on what’s happening in most places in the world. With America having the highest numbers of Covid cases and over one quarter of a million deaths, I think you can assume it is real.

  3. Hi Lori! So nice to see a post from you! Your fur babies are adorable. I love the Hershey Kiss idea, even if Moka was an unwilling participant. Ruger and Snibble look like snugglers to me. That fabric on your table runner is so darn cute. Especially one with a big ‘ole grin. The quilting looks perfect – it did its job of letting the design and fabric be the stars (literally, in this case). {{Hugs}} a bunch for you. We can’t gather for Thanksgiving, either. It will be different but then everything else has been this year so why not. ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. I really like your star table runner – especially the way the stars move across the quilt with some of the points included in the darker border. My fave is the taco doggy costume! LOL Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  5. Hey girl! Nice work on the table runner. Until they crown the idiot Biden (do not think that will happen) Covid will be spiking all the time. The left has nothing else to cover. They sure do not want to cover all the fraud in the election.
But we are taking cautions and since we have no kids we will have just another day but will be thankful that we are both living. Clay is doing great – esp since he stopped the Statin drug. But he will have to go back on it – but this shows the doc that the side effects are bad for him. Maybe now he will lower the dosage.

You hang in there – life as we know it will be back! Have a blessed week-end – keep in touch – Love ya

    1. I now a know a few people with Covid. A girl I work with has both parents in their 80’s with Covid. They just feel like they have a cold. I think things are the same they just do a lot more testing and I am sure they are counting those that get tested multiple times as separate instances which just drives up the numbers.

  6. OH yes – FOX is out of our house! We had started with OANN last year they are great!!! Newsmax is OK, but a lot of opinion like a mini-FOX. I see a couple of people from FOX have moved to Newsmax. Twitter is just about of my life – going to Parler. Once I saw Dorcy – owner of Twitter he looks like a marijuana smoker with a horrible looking bear and a ring in his nose. I am boycotting them along with FOX. I want solid news Hugs. And I love Sydney Powell!
