Borders did not help.

Still Ugly.

This was to be my One Monthly Goal, but since I have no idea what day it is, I will have to monitor my own goal.  Haha.  This should be quite a challenge for me.

My goal is to completely finish this quilt.  Quilt and bind.  Mostly, I want it finished so I don’t have to look at it anymore.  I feel like I need to apologize in advance to whoever is gifted this quilt.

I have one other charity kit that I have not even opened.  I am a little scared.  Could it be any worse?  I bet it could but hope it will not be.

Waiting to see what goes on in the world.  I am still employed!  Yeah!

Happy Sewing, Happy Quilting, please stay safe.

My dogs are not capable of social distancing in any form.

  1. Thank goodness our fur babies don’t have to social distance from us 🙂 I don’t think the quilt is ugly at all. In fact I think adding the borders helped quite a bit in bringing it all together. I know someone is going to love this! But….I totally get what your feeling 🙂 Stay well and safe

  2. Hi Lori! Aww, I love that Moka and Snibble are showing you their love. How cute is that photo of Snibble laying right by your mouse?!! That just warms my heart. I’m not sure why you think the charity quilt is ugly. I am 100% certain that whoever receives it will just feel all the love you’ve put into piecing and eventually quilting it. {{Hugs}} Yay to being employed. Take care. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. Well done. The red-ish fabrics help. I agree with you, sometimes I’d rather use my own stash for a charity quilt. Don’t mind the quilt pattern – just let me work with the fabrics I like. But, I agree wit the others, too. Who wouldn’t love being the recipient of a handmade quilt?

  4. Thank goodness for pets and their cuddles. My pup has not been social distancing either and I like it 🙂
I like the border on the quilt. I hope once it is quilted you like it better.
I too am forgetting what day it is, I’ve been experiencing time in a different way now…
