A little therapy quilting

Well, I got about 1/2 of my lightening bug baby quilt complete.  It was relaxing to sit in front of the machine and so some work.  I am getting the hang of the ruler work.  Still not perfect, but better each time.

Kellie- So, my sister is still on life support.  I saw her this past Sunday and she opened her kel and mateyes for me.  I asked if she knew it was Lori and she shook her head Yes.  Made me feel A little better, yet yesterday sh was not communicating at all again.  The whole thing tears me to pieces.  I hope you all don’t mind that along with my regular posts, I will be posting a picture of her for a while.  This picture is Kellie and Matt before their big sky dive (not something I would ever do).  They both look so happy.

Happy Sewing

Happy Quilting

  1. Hi Lori! {{Hugs}} I am sure no ones minds at all, but the picture isn’t here! I’m going to keep on praying – how encouraging that she recognized you and understood what you said. I think your quilting looks beautiful! ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Your quilt is beautiful! I’m sorry to hear about your sister. I am sending prayers up for you both, and keeping you in my thoughts. The love of a sister is special and strong. They are a blessing, indeed. May God send his peace and love to restore your souls at this difficult time. Amen.
