Hand Quilt Along and we have baby birds!

Happy Mother’s Day.  Very nice day here at the Brewer House.

So, These are some blocks I am working on for my under the sea quilt.  I meant to post this last time, but forgot.  I do not know how manly I plan on making.  Have not got that far.  As you can tell, I have to put some projects away and get something else out.  My quilting ADD, I guess.  Pease visit everyone’s progress for other lovely items:

Our baby robins were born.  THey are so ugly they are cute.  From one day to the next you can see them getting more feathers.  I sat outside for a while today and watched the Mommy and Daddy care for their babies.  I find it just amazing.
I don’t bake much, but I made this chocolate Ganache 20180512_180603_resized.jpgcake that came out so lovely, I thought I would share a photo.  It was equally as yummy.
Happy Sewing
Happy Quilting

  1. I don’t think, no I know I have never seen baby robin birds in a nest…amazing! What a treat for you. Thanks for sharing them and the cake…I gotta go find some chocolate now.
Love working in blue – and would love to see some more of these blocks as you progress, very sweet!

  2. Hi Lori,
It sounds like you had a wonderful Mother’s Day, watching the baby birds and having some cake. I would love to be watching those baby birds with you, very quietly of course. I’ve never made a ganache – I do know what it is but it just SOUNDS intimating. Very easy to make, I’ve been told though. I agree with Nanette – I would love to have a piece of that cake. I’m hungry. ~smile~ Roseanne
