Look what $11.99 gets you…..

So, I have been looking for a travel sewing machine.  I hate taking my expensive Bernina machines when I go to sew ins etc…

Can you believe that I bought this for $11.99 at Goodwill.   Works perfectly.  Looks like it was not used much.  Needs a bit of oil, but I cold not be happier.  This weekend Lynn and I are going to a Sew in sponsored by our guild.  Yeah!

Nothing fancy, but perfect for a traveling machine.

I think things may be looking up.

    WOWEE! What a great find!! Just perfect for what you need and you’ll be familiar with where the buttons and stuff are since it’s the same brand as your bigger/better machine. I haven’t wanted to go to sew ins for that very reason! Ugg, unplugging my machine, and carrying it somewhere when it’s so heavy just doesn’t sound all that fun. Nice! Enjoy the sew in. ~smile~ Roseanne

  17. That was a steal! It’ll be a great, steady machine to use on travels. You know it will cost way more to clean it than you paid for it? LOL

  20. I need to get to the thrift shop more often. Wow! What a find! I haven’t been getting my notifications and will have to haggle with WP again today but at least I found you in my reader. Bernina makes a pretty good machine. Congrats on the find.
