It’s time for me to go and pick up my free quilt block from Red Rooster Quilts. I love free things, even though it will likely cost me money when I go there. They are smart and totally understand quilters. Hard for us not to buy something when surrounded by the things we love.
So, I thought I would show you my blocks so far. I like them and already have in mind how I will quilt them, which is totally odd for me, since the quilting is the scary part. I am going to call this my hugs and kisses quilt and quilt an “O” over the “X’s”. I have it in my mind…… which is sometimes a scary place.

These blocks are looking good! I am in love with fabric that has words on it!

Loving the blocks and fabrics. I know what you mean by always spending money when getting ‘free’ things. It is like when I try to make ‘scrappy’ quilts; they always make me use my yardage or buy more fabric to make settings, backing, or something. 🙂
